It is that time of year again! The hustle and bustle to get your kids ready for school, getting all the supplies and backpacks, finding the perfect first day outfit, filling out all the different forms and then waving tearfully under your sunglasses so your kids don’t see while smiling at the same time as they walk into school. It is an emotional week for the kids and the parents too. Once school starts then all the first day pictures start hitting Facebook and it hits you for real, school is back in session! With all this going on, you may have forgotten that Boston Magazine spends the summer analyzing 15 different categories and eventually ranking the schools.
Now, we all know that there are so many different factors that are involved and that another source may rank them differently, but it is still fun to see where your school ranks on the Boston Magazine list. The exciting part of living West of Boston is that there are so many wonderful schools and towns to choose from. It is with great excitement that four of the towns that I sell real estate in are ranked in the Top 20. Weston has taken the #1 spot, followed by Wellesley at #5 ,Wayland at #6 and Needham at #14. Very impressive! Congratulations to all the towns that made Boston Magazine’s, “Boston’s Best Schools 2012: Top 50 Ranking of high schools in Boston and Boston Suburbs“.
