Spring is here and that means we have a couple of holidays coming our way. With Easter and Passover in the next couple of weeks, there are many fun activities happening in the surrounding towns.
Easter Egg Hunt Giveaway – White’s Bakery
Stop by White’s Bakery and purchase their Easter cookies baskets! Inside they have hidden three homemade marble eggs. If you are a lucky enough to find one, you can redeem it for a $50 gift card.
Spring Thaw: Warren Park Wellesley – April 13 at 10 AM
Stop by this free event at Warren Park in Wellesley and get in the spring time spirit! The event begins at 10 AM for your little ones that are just beginning to walk to three years old. After that at 10:20 AM, children ages four to six years old are welcome to get involved. There will be games, music, photos with the Spring Bunny and so much more!
Easter Egg Hunt: Farm Pond Park Framingham – April 13 at 1 PM
On Saturday, April 13 from 1 PM to 3 PM, Farm Pond Park is offering a free event. Head over to this even for an egg hunt, the Easter Bunny, lawn games and relays! Egg collection bags will be provided for children ages 11 and younger.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Wegmans Natick – April 14
Have breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 14 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM. The Easter Bunny will be hopping over to the Burger Bar at Wegmans to have a buffet styled breakfast!
Party with Your Peeps – Wegmans Natick – April 14
After breakfast, swing by and participate in the “cooking with kids” class at 11 AM. You and your child can make a fresh fruit kabob, candy bark and bring home a peep bouquet.
Easter Bunny is visiting the farm – Lookout Farm Natick – April 17
Yet another fabulous even hosted by Lookout Farm, the Easter Bunny is coming to Belkin Family Lookout Farm on Wednesday, April 17 from 4 PM until 8 PM. The event costs $25/child and will include cheese flatbread and a photo with the Easter Bunny.
Easter Party with the Easter Bunny – Jam Time Natick – April 19
Spend your Friday morning jamming out with the Easter Bunny at Jam Time in Natick. From 10 AM to 12 PM, there will be arts & crafts tables, games, yummy snacks and gifts from the Easter Bunny!
Community Passover Seder – Newton – April 19
Enjoy tradition food and kosher wine on April 19 at Beth Menachem Chabad at 8 PM. The second Seder will take place April 20 at 8:10 PM. All are welcome, regardless of available funds.
Egg Hunt – Weston Town Green – April 20
One thing everyone loves most about Weston is the beautiful Town Green found in the center of town. Join the town in an Easter Egg Hunt the day before Easter! The annual event will begin at 9 AM, no registration required. Stop by the Town Green with your whole family for this kid friendly activity.
Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Seeding Event – Volante Farms Needham – April 20
We love Volante Farms not just for their delicious food choices but for the fun activities they host! Eggs will be hidden around the greenhouse for kids to find, beginning at 9 AM. In addition to the hunt, stop by the farm anytime between 9 AM and 5 PM and your child can learn from the gardeners about planting! Such a great way to start Spring.
An EGGciting Event – Cushing Memorial Park Framingham – April 20
Join in on the Annual Egg Hunt for ages 2-12 years old. Children will have the opportunity to meet the bunny, listen to fun music and play games. Children are required to bring their own Easter baskets or bags for collecting treats and the event will take place rain or shine!
Fun with the Bunny – Cole Center Natick – April 20
Fun with the Bunny begins at 4 PM on Saturday, April 20 at the Cole Center in Natick. The cost is $4 per child and includes a half an hour performance and photo opportunity.
Easter Brunch – The VERVE Crowne Plaza Natick – April 21
Take part in Crowne Plaza’s spring brunch in celebration of Easter. Enjoy the variety of food available including fresh bakery items, homemade soups, seafood, salad bar and much more. Adults and children are welcome to this event.
Easter Grand Buffet with Petting Zoo for Kids – Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston – April 21
With options for brunch at both 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM, this family friendly opportunity is a great way to spend Easter. Not only does this brunch have extensive food options it also allows for the children to participate in an egg hunt and interact with farm animals. In addition, there will also be a cook decorating station and arts n’ crafts.
Passover Seder in an Interfaith Setting – Open Spirit Framingham – April 22
This kosher style potluck meal is open to people of all faiths and ages. On Friday, April 19 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM at Open Spirit in Framingham, participate in a meal with all food appropriate for the holiday.
