Summer getaways are fun for all but can sometimes be a hassle when it involves packing all your belongs, hopping on a plane or driving cross country. Luckily, some of our favorite spots are just a quick car ride away.

2. Ocean House – Watch Hill, Rhode Island
Watch Hill, Rhode Island is a favorite spot in New England for a reason. This charming hotel is located not too far from our area. Taking anywhere from one to two hours, this spot is quick and easy to get to. It is open year round but is especially enjoyable during the warm summer months.
