Making the move to suburbia left me longing for lazy days at the Boston Public Library. Diving into a great book while surrounded by beauty and tranquility, amidst the bustle of the city, was certainly a perk to urban living. Needless to say, I knew it’d be challenging to find a suburban alternative. After heavy investigation, I’ve found the Weston Public Library to be a fantastic alternative. Hunker down solo for R&R, or jump into some of the activities the library has to offer. From Toddler Storytime, to memoir workshops and live Jazz, there is truly something for everyone. What it lacks in rich architectural features and grand scale, it more than makes up for it with fantastic events, workshops, programming, and even special pricing on a fair amount of local museums, zoos, and city attractions.
