With Mother’s Day falling on a day during quarantine, it can be tricky to find a way to still make the women in your life feel special! With that being said, it is still possible to do at home. Below are some ideas on how you can create a wonderful Mother’s Day, without having to leave the house (and while supporting local businesses).

Morning brunch –
If your family typically starts Mother’s Day at your favorite brunch spot, no need to fret! Many local places are offering Mother’s Day Specials for at home. Papa Razzi, Seasons 52 and Bakers’ Best Catering are just a few of the local spots that will be offering dine out specials for the Mom in your life.
At home spa –
While Mom will not be able to make it to the spa this year, you can bring the spa to her! Put together a basket of a few of her favorite essentials including: face masks, bath bombs, lotions and soaps. You can then layout her favorite robe and slippers and allow her to slip away into her very own at home spa! Shop locally (online) at Proud Mary Gifts, London Harness or Isabel Harvey for some last minute gifts for the basket.
Flower Delivery –
With many flower shops closed for in person visits, they have begun offering even more flower deliveries to homes. Call up your local florist and put together a bouquet you know that the Mom in your life would love. There is always something special about flowers being delivered right to your door!
Fancy dinner (at home) –
As previously mentioned for brunch ideas, many dinner spots are offering takeout as well. You can order Mom’s favorite food choices and set it up nicely at the dining table. To make it even more special and fun, put on some fancy clothes and dress up as if you are actually at her favorite restaurant. Some local restaurants offering Mother’s Day Dinner are The Capital Grille, Juniper, Alta Strada and Fuji Steakhouse.
