Memorial Spaulding Elementary School: Located at 250 Brookline Street, this school would only be 0.7 miles away from your home.

Charles E. Brown Middle School: The middle school is a short drive, only 1.2 miles away at 125 Meadowbrook Road.

Newton South High School: Located at 140 Brandeis Road, Newton South High School is only 1.5 miles away, a quick an easy drive for your high school student (especially if they are hard to get out of the door in the mornings!).

Another convenient amenity located close by is not one, but three grocery stories. Whether you are looking for a spot to run in and grab a few groceries or want to spend time there to stock up on all of your favorites, these three stores are the perfect combination. Star Market, Whole Foods and Wegmans are all under three miles away from Spiers Road.

If you are a coffee drinker and need your fix, there are three great spots just a couple miles away. There is of course a Starbucks right near by, but there is also The Bagel Table, which has a delicious menu. Not only do they have a variety of coffee, they also have great food selections that you can take to go or sit down at a cozy table and enjoy. If you’re on the move, Dunkin is only a quick drive away for you to swing into.

Now that you have everything you need to essentially survive near home, there is also a lot of entertainment near by. First, there is the Showcase Super Lux at The Street, 55 Boylston Street. Only 2.2 miles away, this is the perfect distance to plan a quick something to do.

Less than a mile down the road is Boston Sports Club, for those who are interested in exercise.  Not only does this spot have incredible fitness amenities, they also offer babysitting and child sports club, which are great options for families. At Chestnut Hill Square there is an Equinox Gym, Precision Running Lab (by Equinox), Soulcycle, Barry’s Bootcamp and Yogaworks. There is no excuse to not reach your New Year’s goals near this spot!

Next, let’s talk about transit. Many people who work in the city, look to reside in the suburbs. Luckily, there are many travel options right near 225 Spiers Road. There is the MBTA Bus only 152 feet away and the MBTA Green Line a little over three miles down the road. Both are alternative options to driving and make your commute that much easier. 

There is also great shopping located right around the corner. The Shops at Chestnut Hill is full of wonderful retail stores fabulous restaurants. Within The Shops at Chestnut Hill is The Cheesecake Factory, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana and Besito Mexican Restaurant. It is a fabulous spot to shop around with friends and kids. Some of the wonderful stores are Bloomingdales, Apple, Crate & Barrel, J. Crew and Uniqlo.

Three miles from 225 Spiers is The Street, which also has many excellent choices for shopping. However, if you’re looking to grab a bite to eat, this is also the place to go. Some of the restaurants located at The Street are Tender Greens, Ronsky’s, Legal Seafoods, Shake Shack, Aquitaine and Davio’s.

Just when we think that this area can’t get any better, we find out there is still more to come! Keep an eye out for the new restaurant Chilacates, which will serve authentic Mexican food. Peloton Studio will be opening their doors close, adding another spot for you to get your sweat in.  Serena & Lily is also scheduled to open in 2019!
