Annual Holiday House Tour & Marketplace – Needham, MA

The 21st Annual Holiday House Tour hosted by The Needham Women’s Club (NWC) will be back again this year on Sunday, December 9. The event begins at noon at The Center at the Heights (300 Hillside Avenue). The tours will run until 4:30pm and the marketplace will open at 10:30 AM for those interested in shopping.
Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop – Needham, MA

On December 16, join the Needham community in decorating gingerbread houses. Children can choose between 50 assorted candies to help them make the gingerbread house their own. The event takes place at the Town of Needham Park and Recreation from 2PM – 3:30 PM.
LEGO Ornament Workshop – Needham, MA

If your child loves LEGOs, this is the craft for you. Families will create holiday ornaments out of LEGOs and will be able to take them home for decorations or gifts. Located at Rosemary Recreation Complex on December 17th, the event will take place from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM and is open for children ages five to nine.

Join the Weston community on the Town Green for ice skating, tree lighting, toasting marshmallows, music and other festive activities. On Sunday, December 9, all are invited to join in on the fun from 2 PM – 5:30 PM. There will also be a Polar Express Train Ride for the young children who attend!
A Boston Saengerfest Christmas 2018 – Weston, MA

In Weston, at Casey Theatre at Regis College on December 16, there will be a Saengerfest performance. There will be a special appearance by soprano, Ute Gfrerer, known by many for her recent role in The Man of La Mancha. The performance will begin at 4 PM.
Christmas Pageant – Wellesley, MA

All children in the area are welcome to join in on rehearsals every Sunday in December, 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM to prepare for the pageant. The final pageant will take place Sunday, December 23 at 10:30 AM.
Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Festival of Trees – Wellesley, MA

The Tenth Annual Festival of Trees will begin Friday, November 23 and continue until Sunday, December 9. Families can walk through more than 65 decorated treats and check out a holiday model train, Snow Village. On the weekends, there will be Santa visits, music and horse-drawn wagons available for rides.
Chestnut Hill Square to Hold Menorah Lighting – Newton, MA

Sunday, December 9 at 2 PM, join Chestnut Hill Square for the lighting of the Hanukkah menorah. Open to the public, this event will include an Ice Menorah Carving, lighting ceremony and music.
Pet Photos with Santa – Newton, MA

Swing by The Shops at Chestnut Hill with your furry friend and snap a photo with Santa. On Sunday, December 9 from 8 to 9:30 PM, all are welcome.

Located at First Baptist Church in Newton, join in on the music and fun. On December 16, new Phil’s annual celebration will combine with Boston Ballet and Newton All City Treble Singers to perform seasonal music.
Santa Visits Lookout Farm – Natick, MA

On December 9, take your family to Lookout Farm for photos with Santa, decorating picture frames, apple cider donuts and cider / hot chocolate (adult beverages will also be offered). For $15 per person, take part in one of the two meet and greet sessions; 9 – 10 AM and 11 – 12 PM.
