Halloween Activities in your Area

It is hard to believe that it is almost time for Halloween again but it’s right around the corner. Whether you are looking for activities with your children or just something to do to celebrate this spooky time of year, we have put together some of our favorites to share with you.

WCCA Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treating – Weston, MA

On October 27, 2018 at 10:30 AM, there will be a Halloween Parade around Weston’s Town Green. Before the parade, there is the opportunity to decorate trick-or-treat bags to use to collect your candy! Families are later welcomed to Trick-or-Treat in Town Center at local businesses.

2. Halloween Family Day at the Spellman – Weston, MA

Spend your day at the Spellman Museum or stop by for a while to decorate Trick-or-Treat bags and pumpkins with stamps. Hosted from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, there will also be a Halloween Stamp Designing Contest, Halloween Stamp Hunts and many more fun activities for the family.

3. Bates Pumpkin Fair – Wellesley, MA

On October 20, Bates Pumpkin Fair will celebrate their 48th year running. Go and enjoy some Halloween fun with live entertainment and delicious food. Hosted at Bates Elementary School, the proceeds go directly to the school to benefit students.

4. Trick or Treat Parade – Wellesley, MA

On October 27, Wellesley’s annual event begins yet again. Wear your costume and Trick or Treat through Wellesley Hills Merchants.

5. Trick-Or-Treat the Street – Newton, MA

Come spend the day on Boylston Street gathering candy. The afternoon will have Trick-or-Treating, a pumpkin patch and a Live DJ. Everyone is encouraged to wear their costumes. Dogs are also welcomed at this event.

6. Mall-O-Ween – Natick, MA

On Halloween this year, keep warm inside the Natick Mall at their festive event. From 12 – 6 PM stores will be participating in the Trick-or-Treat event. Families can roam throughout the mall, gathering candy while supplies last. There will also be the option for children to decorate their own pumpkin ($5 per person – proceeds benefit Second Chance Animal Shelter) and grab a Trick-Or-Treat tote.

7. Wickedly Fun 2 Mile Run/Walk – Natick, MA

Grab your best costume and spend your morning running or walking, while raising money for Brown Elementary PTO. The event begins at Brown Elementary School on Sunday, October 21st at 10:00 AM.

8. WCPA Trunk or Treat – Wayland, MA

On October 27, join in on the fun at Claypit Hill Elementary parking lot for the 8th annual Trunk or Treat. The event takes place from 4:00 – 5:00 PM and involves costumes, decorated cars and lots of treats. After the event, head over to the cafeteria and enjoy the Halloween party. The cost is $5 per child, with pizza and water provided.

9. High School Trick or Treat – Needham, MA

On October 27th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Needham High School is hosting a trick-or-treat event for families. Put together by the Sophomore class Student Council, children are invited to trick-or-treat through the school. There will also be games, music and treats.

10. Trick-or-Treat in the Children’s Room – Needham, MA

All day on Halloween, stop by to grab a treat bag from Needham Free Library. If your child has a food allergy, they will instead receive a bag of small Halloween toys to accommodate. The event begins at 9:00 AM and will continue until 9:00 PM.
