Designing Your Master Closet – Part 4: The Hardware

We have previously discussed flooring, accessories and finishes – now it’s time to talk hardware! Below are just a few options that will fit perfectly in any master closet.  Go ahead and choose your favorite to further enhance your closet drawers and doors!

Acrylic

Our first suggestion is the most modern out of the bunch. Acrylic hardware is a new fad that many people are loving! We are obsessing over the look of acrylic with a pop of another metal. In the photo above, it features a small amount of gold, but this also looks wonderful with nickel or chrome.

Brushed Nickel

A classic but fabulous choice for your closet hardware! The best part of brushed nickel is that it goes with almost everything. Our favorite color choices with this specific hardware are white and gray. It is very clean looking and does not seem to age!

Chrome

If you are looking for a similar vibe to the brushed nickel but want something a bit more modern, chrome is the way to go. It adds a pop to your closet and looks very classy. Add this to grey or ebony finishes and you will have the perfect match!

Black

We have said before how much we love the look of white and black and the closet is no different! It is by far our favorite to pair black with a white finish, but we also love it with grey or light wood. There are many different style hardware pieces and they all look spectacular in black!

Gold

Can you ever go wrong with classic gold hardware? No! This is something that will just never get old. Any of the finishes we suggested in our previous blog will go perfectly with this option. Regardless of the color of hardware, gold will stand out in the best way.

Next week we conclude our Master Closet series with our final blog post on the layout of your closet and putting this all together! Stay tuned!
