Many new businesses have been opening their doors to the Wellesley community. We recently discovered a company that plans to open their doors in January 2019. Code Ninjas is a coding center for children ages seven to fourteen.

Code Ninjas will offer educational recourses that not all schools typically do. STEM programs are offered at Code Ninjas locations to help students focus on coding, math, logic and problem solving while having fun.
The ‘ninjas,” as the students are called, progress through a nine belt program like karate. Each belt of the self-paced curriculum builds up the last. For ninjas that remain committed, they will be able to publish their very own game onto the app store as part of their black belt. Their flexible learning system allows parents the flexibility to drop their kids off at the center without scheduling.

In addition the belt program and drop in hours, Code Ninjas also hosts camps during certain time frames, birthday parties filled with STEM activities, and, finally, “Parents Night Out” for families that want a night out, while their children learn and have fun.

As they gear up to opening their doors, they are currently scheduling tours in December to allow families to personally see the center for themselves.
