Last week we passed along some of our favorite ideas for reading nooks. This week, we are continuing with a similar topic and talking creative breakfast spots in your home. Although some may think that there are very limited options when it comes to an at home breakfast nook, there are actually a variety of ways that you can design this area. The seating, table and decor are just a few of the many things you can customize to make your own. Take a look at some of the ideas below to see if any jump out at you for your home!

A breakfast nook with a wrap around bench is a fabulous idea for families. It provides plenty of seating with a lot of extra room! The table in the middle of all of the seating allows for comfortable dining for everyone at the table. The fun part about this? You can choose an exciting bench pattern that goes along with the rest of your home decor! Then, you can add another stand alone bench on the opposite side and you will have a perfect spot for your meals.

Tucked Away

This unique breakfast nook is such a lovely idea. We love the thought of having an area that is tucked away from the rest of the kitchen, that can be specifically for eating. It is a wonderful option because although a bit secluded, it always allows for flowing conversation because of the open concept. Another great feature to this concept is that you can make the area the size whatever works for your family / lifestyle.

Counter Seating

If you are looking for something that does not take up quite as much space, countertop seating might be the best option for you. This sleek and modern style breakfast nook is certainly something to consider adding into your kitchen. You can choose to have it appear as a continuation of your counter or stand alone. Find a few barstools that you cannot help but love and your counter nook is finished.

Table and Chairs

A bit similar to the idea of a nook with a bench, but you can also add chairs if you would prefer. There is the option to use multiple chairs around the table or add them in addition to a bench. The benefit of using chairs is they will fill additional space around the table. Find some that style well with your kitchen and the nook will be sure to flow nicely.

 Booth Style

Booths are not only made for just restaurants but also for your home! Add into your kitchen this intimate setting for a cozy meal with your favorite people. When choosing your table, it is best to choose something sleek, so it does not take up too much space in between the two benches. As shown in the picture above, you can also add in a couple of drawers to the bench frame, to create even more storage in the kitchen!
